VCU senior Treveon Graham was one of only three players to play in the skills camps of LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Chris Paul this past summer.
From Paul’s camp, he said he learned ballhandling skills and using ball screens better.
From Durant’s camp, he learned some footwork drills, pump fakes and step-through shooting moves.
LeBron’s camp reinforced that he could play with the top players in the country.
“It was more of a competitive camp,” Graham said. “I think that pushed my confidence to the highest. That’s the best of the best going in there and playing.
“Last year my confidence was high, but I second-guessed myself at times. If I would miss a couple of shots, I’d second guess that fourth shot just because I missed three. Now if I miss a couple of shots, I’m more confidence to take that fourth one.”
